I mostly taught myself to sew, my mom showed me a basic stitch, and they reat I fugured out on my own. I started out making sock plushies (they were sad XD ) Then a year or so later, I started making real ones. I'll find patterns on the internet to make things sometimes, when I'm too lazy to come up with my own pattern, but that mostly for things I'm not sure how to make. One of my favourite places with free patterns is [link] look around on this site, she's got tons of patterns! She even has tutorials with lots of pictures, I'm sure it will help!
